Protect Yourself Financially!

Things to do to protect yourself:

1. Insist on seeing and signing your income taxes each year. Are there any unexplained investment distributions? 2. Review investment account statements quarterly. Have there been any withdrawals or distributions? 3. Run your credit report each year. 4. Look at your bank statements regularly. What is being deducted each month? 5. Review your mortgage statements regularly. 6. Review credit card statements regularly. 7. Insist your spouse run his credit report each year and share with you. 8. Look at spouse's pay stubs. Review deductions for 401(k) deductions and loan payments. Compare the amount of net pay to what is deposited into your bank account. Are there other direct deposits? Where are they going?
